He wasn’t the first prophet who had many different wives. His last words before he died was ‘Treat Women Very Well”

Khadijah bint Khuwaylid (love of his life)

Khadijah, may Allah be pleased with her, came from a gracious tribe. Her father Khuwaylid the leader of the tribe had been killed in battle. Also her husband had also passed away, leaving behind him a very rich woman. Muhammad peace be upon him was 25 years old, she trusted him with some of her wealth and money, asking him to buy and sell. As we knew he was well known for his reliability, faithfulness and honesty. He returned from trading journey after increasing her income. After knowing his good manners and attitudes she decided to marry him; Mohammad’s uncle, Abu Talib, gave them his blessing and acceptance for this marriage. They had a very perfect happy 25 years lived together. Khadijah was the first lady who converted to Islam who Believed in Mohammad’s and supported him during his Islam Journey.

Sawada bint Zam’a (the first lady who immigrate)

The first woman to immigrate to Abyssinia to practice Islam was Sawda bint Zam’a, May Allah be pleased with her. She was a widow so she lived with her old father.  She was a curvy, cheerful lady in her middle age when she married Muhammad peace be upon him.

A’isha Siddiqa bint Abu Bakr (the youngest lady and the daughter of the first man who converted to Islam)

Among all the wives, Aisha the daughter of Abu Bakr was the youngest wife between them. Her father abu Bakr was the first man who converted to Islam, and Mohammad’s peace be upon him best friend. A’isha was a brave young girl who still had an enormous agreement to be taught when she married the Prophet, and she was very immediate to learn. She had a transparent heart, and a speedy mind and a precise memory. She was very wise lady nothing scares her, to expose her opinion without any fear, what ever happened she always finds out the truth or makes it known.

Hafsa bint ‘Umar (the daughter of  Umar ibn Al Khattah the second leader in Islam)

Hafsa the daughter of Umar ibn al Khattab the second leader in islam after Abu bakr. She had been married before Mohammad peace be upon him to someone else, but he died so at the age of 19 she was a vary young widowed. After that she was married to prophet Mohammad after the battle of Badr, when mohammad was 56 years old and Hafsa was 20 years old. By this marriage relation, the Prophet made strong bonds between two of his closest friends, the two strong first leaders in Islam (khalifs) after his death.

Zaynab bint Khuzayma

She was married to Mohammad in the 9 month in Ramadan where Muslims obey God By fasting the whole month when she was 30 years. She was a widow, and  her husband died in war. She offered herself to marry mohammaed peace be upon him, and he accepted the offer. Her nickname was the ‘The Mother of the Poor’; she was very generous with every person she met.

Juwayriya bint al-Harith

Juwayriyya bint Harih was married to mohammad at the age of 20 years; she knew for her beauty, and she was one of  the beautiful girls in her tribe. By marrying her, the banu harth entered the Islam with honor. After marrying the prophet, the prophet changed her name from Barra to Juwayriyya.

Maria al-Qibtiyya

Maria al-Qibtiyya was born in Egypt from a Greek mother, she went to Medina to join Muslim community, Maria gave birth to a baby boy called Ibarhim, but Ibrahim was only 18 years when he died. Prophet mohammad was in deep greave for losing his child. Maria was honored by sharing her life with Mohammad peace be upon and his family; she spent only 3 years from her life with prophet mohhamd before mohammad died.
